Threefold started with a frustration Sakinah knew all too well.
As a working mom, she realized how quickly beauty gets squeezed into an already full day. With a love of braids—for herself and for her daughter—getting the look often felt harder or more time-consuming than it needed to be.
She kept thinking: There has to be an easier way.
Sakinah is reimagining hair braiding as a faster, more welcoming and elevated experience.
With a background in marcom, inclusion, events and brand-building, Sakinah has spent her career creating experiences that help people feel seen, connected and included. That same community-centered approach extends beyond her professional work as a longtime Girl Scout troop leader, where she helps create meaningful experiences for the next generation of women. She brings that people-first lens to every detail of the Threefold guest journey.
A recipient of the Working Mother of the Year Award from She Runs It, Sakinah understands firsthand how valuable time is and how transformative it can be when beauty services are designed to fit more seamlessly into real life. Through Threefold, she is building a brand that makes beautiful braids easier to access, easier to enjoy and easier to make part of everyday life.
